Brighton Sports and Outdoor Activities
The city of Brighton has excellent sports facilities, including a wide range of popular Brighton spectator sports, such as Brighton football, with the Brighton and Hove Albion football club, Brighton rugby and Brighton cricket. There are also good sports facilities in Brighton for participants, and these include Brighton golf courses, Brighton tennis courts, Brighton badminton courts, Brighton swimming pools, Brighton fitness centres and Brighton gymnasiums. The local Brighton newspapers provide a useful sports section which regularly lists daily and weekly local Brighton sports events, which are held in and around Brightons city centre.
Being next to the sea, on the south coast of England, Brighton is also a popular location for watersports, including sailing, wind surfing, surfing, waterskiing and swimming.
